About Us.
Flextex Ltd was established in 1985 by managing directors Mike Martin and Bill Bird operating from a small warehouse with one bag making machine. A few years later, the business moved to bigger premises at Progress Industrial Estate, Kirkham. As this building was much bigger, more machines were installed allowing the conversion capacity to increase too.
Since 1995, Flextex has been located at Unit 1 Kirkham Trading Park, purpose built premises five minutes from Junction 3 of the M55. As we are so close to the motorway network we are able to offer Extruders and Packaging Merchants a speedy solution to their packaging requirements.
We have a strict policy that we do not want to attract business from 'end-users.' We trade discreetly and do not advertise what we do. This web site exists to provide information to our existing client base and for any Extruders or Merchants that would like to know more about us.
